J. Vincent Nash
I’m a professional artist on a mission to create art with great ‘wall power’ by combining the best of traditional and digital art techniques. I was traditionally trained as an illustrator before transitioning into digital art during a successful career making video games. My traditional art training at Falmouth School of Art, the digital tools of the games industry and the succession of technology throughout my life have combined to make made me into the hybrid traditional/digital artist that I am now. There is a fundamental magic that happens when the traditional and digital arts combine, a kind of ‘new’ art that becomes something far more than the sum of it’s parts, something important. My goal now is to create stunning pieces of physical art that also offer many other benefits to the shrewd folks whom choose to enjoy and invest in them. A new future for art exists where traditional and digital art combine. As an artist I am excited to be in the middle of this explosive new artistic horizon. [JVN]
